Welcome to my “Happy Place”
I am a natural light photographer with a focus on landscapes and nature. I love showcasing the beauty of my home state, North Carolina. My photography goal is to simply capture and share the beauty of creation by God, the greatest artist of all. Things and even our own lives can change so quickly. In my images, I strive to capture those fleeting “moments in time” and I encourage others to slow down and treasure each moment as it is given by God. The images captured are not generated by AI or Photoshop. They are true representations of the natural beauty of the world we live in.
My photography journey began around 2015 when I was gifted a Nikon DSLR camera. Being a lover of all thing’s nature related, I found myself drawn to that style of photography. When I attended a WV landscape photography workshop in 2019, hosted by a talented friend and mentor Randall Sanger, I found my niche and my hobby quickly became an obsession. I’ve been honored to have several of my images awarded 1st place at local art shows. My work has been featured in the Carolina Country magazine as well as on social media by OurState Magazine and various tourism groups from NC and surrounding states. I have also been featured by printing companies such as ProPrints and SAAL Digital. If you’ve been to ImagingUSA, you may have seen my work on display!
Although photography is not my full-time career at this point, it is my true love. If you are around me for any length of time, you will notice I am always drawn to the light!
